To promote infant and children having useful nutrient from breast milk feeding and to comply with International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes. By the virtue of provisions of Section 5 and 6(1) (2) (4) (5) (6) (7) and (10) of the Food Act B.E. 2522 (1979), the Minister of Public Health ,by the recommendation of the Food Committee ,hereby issues the notification as follows:
Clause 1 Shall be repealed wording in (a) of 11.2.10 of Clause 11 of the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health No. 156 (B.E. 2537), Re: Modified Milk for Infant and Modified Milk of Follow up Formula for Infant and Young Children dated 14th October B.E. 2537 (1994) and replaced with the following :
“(a) The words "Important Notice"
- Breastfeeding is the most superior for infant because of complete nutrition value;
