Notification of the Ministry of Public Health

Re: Bread.

It deems appropriate to amend the notification of the Ministry of Public Health, Re: Labelling of bread.
By the virtue of provisions of Section 5 and 6(7) and (10) of the Food Act B.E. 2522 (1979), in which contain provisions in relation to the restriction of Rights and Liberties of the Persons, in respect of which Section 29 and in conjunction with Section 35, Section 48 and Section 50 of the Constitution
of the Kingdom of Thailand so permit by virtue of provisions of law; the Minister of Public Health hereby issues the notification as follows:
Clause 1. The notification of the Ministry of Public Health No. 81 B.E. 2527 (1984), Re:
Labelling of bread, dated 17th February B.E. 2527 (1984), shall be repealed.
Clause 2. Bread in sealed packaging is prescribed food which is required to bare labels.
Clause 3. Bread means product which is made from flour and fermented by yeast to rise, and baked, and may be mixed with other ingredients which are not hazardous to health such as prune, raisin, chocolate, etc., which may or may not be homogeneous mixed, but not to include stuffed bread.
