Senegal's geographic position vis-avis the U.S. east and gulf coasts, and availability of roads, ports and airports offer trade opportunities for U.S. exporters if it can offer competitive prices, especially for bulk (wheat and rice), intermediate (meat, condiments), and consumer-ready products (drinks and canned foods). .
