India’s 2014/15 coffee production is forecast at 5.1 million 60 kg bags, up slightly from the revised 2013/14 estimate. Exports are also forecast at 5.1 million 60 kg bags, while imports for processing and re-export are again expected be around 1.0 million bags. Domestic consumption is largely unchanged.While India has seen considerable growth in the number of cafés and other coffee outlets in recent years, the pace of expansion appears to have slowed of late.
