Re: Prohibited foods to be produced, imported or sold

It deems appropriate to amend the notification of the Ministry of Public Health, Re: Prohibited foods to be produced, imported or sold.
By the virtue of provisions of Section 5 and 6(8) of the Food Act B.E. 2522 (1979), in which contain provisions in relation to the restriction of Rights and Liberties of the Persons, in respect of which Section 29 and in conjunction with Section 35, Section 39, Section 48 and Section 50 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand so permit by virtue of provisions of law: the Ministry of Public Health hereby issues the notification as follows:
Clause 1 Shall be repealed
1.1 The Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 154) B.E. 2537 (1994), Re: Prohibited food to be produced, imported and sold, date 7th March B.E. 2537 (1994).
1.2 The Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 261) B.E. 2545 (2002), Re: Prohibited food to be produced, imported and sold (No. 2), date 26th September B.E. 2545 (2002)
Clause 2 The follows foods are prohibited to produce, import or sell
2.1 Dulcin or chemical name is “para-phenetolcarbamide” which used as sweetener.
2.2 Cyclamic acid and its salts excluded salt of Cyclamic acid which is Sodiumcyclamate.
2.3 AF2 or Furylframide as common name or 2-(2-furyl)-3-(5-nitro-2-furyl) acrylamide as chemical name which used as food additive
