Re: Repeal of the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 14) B.E. 2522 (1979).

Due to the remaining solution from monosodium glutamate production nowadays is not sold directly to consumers but is used as raw material for producing other kind of foods such as sauces, soybean sauces, fish sauces, brine for cooking, etc., in which such foods are prescribed in the notification of the Ministry of Public Health especially in quality or standard, and in conjunction to contaminants which are prescribed in the notification of the Ministry of Public Health No. 98 B.E. 2529 (1986), Re: Standard for foods with contamination, which are sufficiently supported. It deems appropriate to repeal the notification of the Ministry of Public Health No. 14 B.E. 2522 (1979), Re: Prescribed qualities or standards and labels for remaining solution from monosodium glutamate production.
