Re: Repeal of the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 189) B.E. 2542 (1999)

Reliable evidences confirm that foods from the country of origin of Belgium is safe for consumption from dioxin contamination, it deems appropriate to amend import measures to conform to current situation.
By the virtue of provisions of Section 5 and 6 (8) of the Food Act B.E. 2522 (1979), the Minister of Public Health hereby notifies as follows:
The notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 189) B.E. 2522 (1999), Re: Prescribed prohibited foods to be imported or sold, dated 21 September B.E. 2542 (1999), shall be repealed.
This notification shall come into force as from the day following date of its publication in the Government Gazette.
