On November 8, 2013, the Government of Japan (GOJ) announced changes to the Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) for 1,3-dichloropropene, Cyazofamid, Cyprodinil, Lufenuron, Mandipropamid, Molinate, Monensin, and Cefazolin. Although the comment periods for Japanese domestic stakeholders and the U.S. Government have already closed, Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare (MHLW) plans to notify the WTO-SPS committee in the near future, which will provide an additional opportunity for interested parties to comment.
