Post forecasts that rapeseed-mustard production in marketing year (MY) 2013/14 will reach 7.3 million metric tons, an increase of 200,000 metric tons over the previous estimate. This revision is due to increased area planted, favorable planting conditions, and timely winter rains throughout the rabi (winter planted/spring harvested) season.
