MY 2014/15 wheat production is forecast at 24.5 million tons; marginally up from last year’s production. MY 2014/2015 wheat exports are expected to remain stable at 700,000 tons, assuming a favorable harvest. In MY 2013/14, Pakistan exported around 700,000 tons of wheat, the major portion of it, 600,000 tons, going to Afghanistan.
