Pakistan’s next year (MY) 2014/15 sugar production is forecast at 4.86 million tons, a seven percent decrease from the current year’s production. Sugar consumption for the same year is forecast at 4.5 million tons, slightly higher than last year’s estimates and exports are forecast at 400,000 tons. Ending stocks are expected to increase to 1.14 million tons.
