FAS/Kabul (Post) forecasts marketing year (MY) 2014/15 wheat production at 5.2 million metric tons (MMT), up two percent from last year due to greater water availability, better snow accumulation during the winter and favorable weather conditions. Post forecasts Afghanistan’s MY 2014/15 rice production at 520,000 MT.
