U.S. suppliers should be aware that Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) require that importers in TCI obtain an import permit for the importation of meat, poultry and dairy products. To avoid any issues with their shipments, U.S. exporters are advised to work closely with their importers in TCI to ensure that import permits for their shipments are issued in advance by the Animal Health Services Division of the TCI Department of Agriculture.
