Post estimates that China’s 2014 fluid milk production will decline by three percent to 36 million tons due to herd reductions and stricter regulations on dairy/infant formula production. Strong consumer demand will continue to support record imports of fluid milk, non-fat dry milk powder and whole milk powder. Post’s 2014 fluid milk import figure remains unchanged at a record high of 300,000 tons.
