Argentine biodiesel production for 2015 is forecast at 3.1 billion liters, the highest ever. In 2013 there was a significant output drop with exports limited by EU measures and a domestic market affected by higher export taxes and lower official mandate prices. Both internal and external demand is expected to increase significantly in 2014 and 2015 as a result of an important reduction in export taxes, an increase to 10 percent in the domestic blending mandate and a temporary reduction of internal taxes on biodiesel use.
