U.S. corn exports to Colombia have dominated the market against Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) competitors. U.S. corn exports slightly exceeded 2.4 million metric tons (MMT) through June 2014, closing the 2.3 MMT quota for the calendar year under the U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement (CTPA).
