Re: Prescribed Foods to Show Food Serial Number on Food Labels.

It deems appropriate to show food serial number on food labels to follow to the notification of the Ministry of Public Health No. 194 B.E. 2543 (2000), Re: Labels.
By the virtue of provisions of Section 5 and 6 (10) of the Food Act B.E. 2522 (1979), in which contain provisions in relation to the restriction of Rights and Liberties of the Persons, in respect of which Section 29 and in conjunction with Section 35, Section 48 and Section 50 of the Constitution of
the Kingdom of Thailand so permit by virtue of provisions of law; the Minister of Public Health hereby issues the notification as follows:
Clause 1. The following foods are prescribed to show food serial number:
(1) Food Colours.
(2) Cow’ s Milk.
(3) Flavoured Milk.
(4) Other Milk Products.
(5) Food Enhancers.
(6) Cultured Milk.
(7) Ice.
(8) Food Additives.
(9) Weight-control Foods.
(10) Foods in Sealed Containers.
(11) Modified Milk for Infant and Follow-up Formula Modified Milk for Infant and Young Children.
(12) Infant Foods and Follow-up Formula Food for Infant and Young Children.
(13) Supplementary Foods for Infant and Young Children.
(14) Drinking Water in Sealed Containers.
(15) Ice Cream.
(16) Palm Oil.
(17) Coconut Oil.
