The Government of India has amended the Directorate General of Foreign Trade’s (DGFT) Import Policy 2012 to reflect the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (DAHDF) standing import requirements for equines, bovine embryos, animal feed preparations, and hides & skins (for these requirements, see links at the end of this report). No changes have been made to existing import requirements. The notification updates DGFT’s Import Policy 2012 to reflect existing regulations within the Ministry of Agriculture.
