Introduction
Themes this week were Back to School sales along with "support your U.S. Olympic team". Retailers continue to make sure summer favorites are still readily available in produce sections. Assorted varieties of melons, including cantaloups, honeydews, and watermelons, various varieties of berries, peaches, nectarines, plums, and grapes were featured in this week's ads. Salad items such as mixed salad packages, various varieties of lettuce, cucumbers, green onions, and radishes continue to be popular offerings. Locally grown produce continues to be heavily featured in ads. Cases of berries and canning supplies are also being offered.
