Marketing Authorization for Food Additives That May Be Used as pH Adjusting Agents, Acid-Reacting Materials or Water Correcting Agents (SOR/2012-211)
INTERPRETATION
1. (1) The following definitions apply in this Marketing Authorization
“pH adjusting agent, acid-reacting material or water correcting agent” means a food additive that is used to alter or control the acidity or alkalinity of a food or to prevent a food from drying out.
“List” means the List of Permitted pH Adjusting Agents, Acid-Reacting Materials and Water Correcting Agents published by the Department of Health on its website, as amended from time to time.
