Grape Production in 2013 is likely to bounce back from 2012’s low harvest of 269,000 metric tons to be around 315,000 metric tons (up 17% Year-on-Year). Even with the big increase in grape harvest total wine supply is expected to stay well balanced with total demand. Wine exports from
New Zealand in 2013, forecast at 169 million liters, would be lower than the total for 2012 which was 176.6 million liters.
