2014 Mexico’s Tax and Social Security Reform

On September 8, 2013, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto submitted his tax overhaul proposal for congressional consideration. On October 31, 2013, after intense negotiations, legislative process for a new tax reform ended with its approval by the two chambers of the Mexican Congress.
