Post forecasts broiler production to rebound by 3 percent in 2014 to 12.7 million metric tons after a small decline in production last year. Exports are expected to increase, mostly due to depreciation of the Brazilian currency and increased domestic consumption, driven by higher demand from the food service industry in view of increased tourism related to the World Cup soccer matches in June-July.
