The calendar year (CY) 2014 grape crop is estimated to be 2.09 million metric tons (MMT), down 27 percent from CY2013. CY2014 will be one of the worst in the last 15 years as a result of the exceptional bad weather during the crop season in the main production provinces of Mendoza and San Juan.
