For calendar year (CY) 2014, Post estimates a major decrease in production of all three types of fresh deciduous fruit, especially for table grapes, forecast at 70,000 MT, half of what was previously estimated. For apples and pears, late frosts and high temperatures and, for table grapes, late frosts and excess rains in the main growingregions will cause production to decrease drastically.
