In September 2014 Poland’s parliament is expected to re-start work on a comprehensive legislation on biotechnology. This follows piecemeal legislative changes to the National Feeds Act and National Seeds Act which brought previous Polish laws into compliance with EU legislation. On January 2, 2013, Polish national biotechnology policy was re-affirmed by the Council of Ministers headed by the Prime Minister.
