CONSUMPTION DEMOGRAPHICS
-The percentage of the American population that drinks coffee increased from 41% in 2005 to 43% in 2010.
-The average drinker consumes five coffees each week.
-Coffee consumption increases with age; as consumers grow older, they tend to drink coffee more frequently.
However, it declines with additional household members, especially when there are children.
-The Pacific and Atlantic states have the highest consumption rates, in terms of the percentage of the population
that drinks coffee at over 51% each.
-Over 58% of dieters drink coffee.
