Thoroughly mix 5 g test portion with 10 mL H2O at 50–60°C and add 5mLHg(NO3)2 solution, 920.106 (see 33.2.37). Shake, let stand 5 min, and filter through medium-fast retentive paper. To filtrate add additional 5 mL Hg(NO3)2 solution and test as in 920.106 (see 33.2.37), using filtrate so obtained. See also Note in 920.106 (see 33.2.37).
