Indian Beef Exports Surge To Continue in 2013
India’s beef exports are forecast 29 percent higher to a record of 2.16 million tons. Accounting for nearly a quarter of world trade, India expands while other countries make only marginal volume increases.

Rising demand for low-cost product is fueled by many smaller, emerging and price sensitive Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Expanding markets for processing meat as well as halalcertified product provide opportunitiesfor export growth.
