There are many changes of regulations and polices related to Crop Protection Products over the world. People are more interested in public health and environments than in past. Registrant focus on issues with respect to public health and environment and give various information of safety of CPP; ADI, MRLs etc. in public. I wish that all our efforts should be useful for people and get rid of their misgivings about CPP's safety.
I publish the 21st Pesticide Handbook in this year. It is revised each year(except 1986, 2006)according to the information on newly registered and/or cancelled items and their added and/or deleted uses in Korea since its first release in 1985. This book has all active ingredients and items in Korea by August 2009. 1,329 items and 473 active ingredients in total were registered in Korea.
This includes agrochemical names; Korean Item name, Trade name, Chemical name and major target organisms which were registered by KRDA (Korea Rural Development Administration), while indicating the items and domestically synthesized technical materials and the first registration or re-registration date in Korea for their appropriate application in this field.
For your information, the item names were registered by Korean authority, the chemical names accord to IUPAC name and the abbreviations of formulation type by CropLife International and KRDA classification.
