Report Highlights:
BM3004. Burma exported 82,257 metric tons (MT) of beans and pulses in June, down 47 percent from the same period in 2012. 70 percent of total exports (57,406 MT) were exported to India. Interestingly, 185 MT of beans and pulses were exported to the United States.

Burma’s bean and pulse exports in June 2013 totaled 82,257 metric tons (MT), down 47 percent from the same period in 2012. Matpe beans (black gram) accounted for 55 percent of total exports followed by Toor Whole with 28 percent and Mung beans with 6 percent respectively.
